A little about Me

I started Andromeda Hand Works (formerly Andromeda Sock Yarn) 9 years ago and it's been a really fun trip so far!  I'm really lucky to dye in a home studio in the lovely city of Colorado Springs as well as a space at Who Gives a SCRAP. Andromeda Hand Works is an indie yarn company that develops unique colorways in a variety of soft bases. I make hand dyed yarns in bright colors with quirky names. I'm an independent artist working to make beautiful yarn that is a pleasure to knit with. I also make a variety of stickers, as well as dabble in printmaking and multi media art.  Outside of my yarny endeavors, I'm a stay at home Mom to one energetic little 13 year old boy and the wife of a wonderful man (who helped/harped with this site).

All items made in a smoke free, cat friendly home.  The cats don't go in my studio.  That would require them to leave their cozy spots, and they aren't isn't interested in that.
